Sujay, the most intrepid of the APTUS co-founders, has more than eighteen years of engineering design experience encompassing all phases of project development from initial concept design through construction administration.  After earning a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering at the Manipal Institute of Technology, Karnataka, India he moved to Chicago, IL to complete a masters in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology. 
 

Since graduating he has developed his expertise in HVAC systems, process piping, plumbing and electrical systems.  He has applied these skills to projects ranging from new construction to complete facility retrofits, including office buildings, healthcare facilities, educational buildings, laboratories, industrial facilities and power plants.
 

If you can think of an aspect of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing he has tackled it; design, code compliance, drawings preparation and specifications, and even field coordination.

Sujay moved to the USA to attend University in Chicago. He, his wife and two kids now enjoy living in wonderful, warm Austin. And because he likes his life like he likes his chia – flavorful, with a fair of amount of sugar – they’ve added Mocha, their very active Chocolate lab to the mix.
