The new country club and activity center at Great Hills Country Club provide upscale amenities to club members while effortlessly integrating into the existing golf club site.
Exposed wood and steel create a sophisticated look for the new Great Hills Country Club, which brings together event space, dining, golf pro-shop, a fitness center, yoga room, and offices. The building’s HVAC system and lighting were designed around the exposed architectural elements and integrated into the building façade. Custom light fixtures provide a signature detail to the already unique design.
A single commercial kitchen is designed to serve the needs of multiple dining concepts within the country club building. Restaurants, bars, and lounges open to spacious patios via large, operable glass walls. The activity center, designed with stronger focus on children’s activities, includes a separate restaurant and kitchen.
An underground garage for golf cart storage maximizes the use of the existing site while also keeping the site organized. The garage design required ventilation, drainage, and power for rechargeable golf carts.
In order to coordinate the desired aesthetic with required HVAC and lighting systems, our team used Revit for modeling and clash detection during the design. This significantly reduced the potential for change orders during construction.
